Looking for photos for the exhibition and found these sweet ones from my time in Italy.
About 10 years ago I bought a camera and started to study the art of photography. Shortly after I went to Rome and fell in love with the beauty of the city. Along with the infatuation of the city a dream was born.
Not yet ready to become a full time lawyer I left my life in Sweden behind, to study and take photos of the life in and around the Eternal City.
The history, the light and all the beautiful colours of the city felt like a creative paradise for me and my camera. Actually, the word “photography “ literally means “drawing with light”, which describes what I love so much about photography. The camera crystallises the light and expression of that very moment of time, a moment that will never be again. Yet through the photograph you can travel in time to relive the feeling of that moment.
Along with some paintings I intend to share some of my photos at the exhibition in Kil, 28-29 of December. The photos will be signed and up for sale.
